Privacy notice

Who we are
Kohppeling Motorrijders ("the club") is a motorcycle club based in Jakarta. The club is the controller of the personal data described here under Law No. 27 of 2022 on Personal Data Protection (UU PDP).
What we collect and why
- Name, nickname, city, photo — to run the member directory.
- Email — to sign you in and send club notices.
- Phone / WhatsApp (optional) — so club admins can reach you. Only you and admins can see it; it is never shown to other members.
- Date of birth — to verify you are an adult rider and to celebrate birthdays (members only see the day and month).
- Motorcycles and plate numbers — for ride planning. Plates are visible to you and admins only.
- Shirt size — for club apparel. Admins only.
- Dietary needs — for meals on tours. Only the road captain of a ride you join can see them.
- Emergency card (blood type, allergies, emergency contact) — optional, for your safety on rides. Visible to you, admins, and the road captain of a ride you have said you are going on.
- Ride RSVPs, attendance and kilometres — to organise rides and keep club records.
Legal basis
Your explicit consent, given when you register, and the club's legitimate interest in organising safe group rides.
Who can see it
Only signed-in, approved club members, and only the parts listed above. Nothing about members is shown on public pages. We do not sell or share your data with third parties. Data is stored with our hosting providers (Supabase and Vercel) and may be processed outside Indonesia under their standard data-protection terms. When a member uses the club assistant, the details needed to answer (for example names, positions and ride stats that member can already see) are sent to Anthropic, which provides the AI, under its commercial data-protection terms. Contacts, emergency cards, sizes and dietary needs are never sent.
How long we keep it
While you are a member. If you leave or ask us to delete your data, we remove your personal details and keep only anonymous ride statistics (for example, total kilometres ridden by the club).
Your rights
You can see and correct your data on your profile page, download a copy of it, withdraw consent, and ask for it to be deleted. For anything else, contact a club officer.
